The Baihe Ladies Singers is an all-ladies choral group formally registered in Singapore in November 2002. Before its formation, members were already singing in various other choir groups in Singapore and performed either as solos or small groups in a number of concerts. It was by the simple desire to further facilitate our appreciation and presentation of the finest music art together that we became an identity, the Baihe Ladies Singers. We constantly seek the improvement of members in individual vocal skill, auditory perception and other aspects in performing choral music. We engage ourselves in musical activities such as presentation of public concerts and recitals to uphold the choir standard.

The Baihe Ladies Singers rehearses weekly under the our music director. Our repertoire includes folks from a diversity of cultures around the world and classical choral pieces from both East and West. Baihe, or White Lily in Chinese Hanyu Pinyin, symbolizes purity, sweetness and perfection, among other qualities. Baihe Ladies Singers strives for the same state in choral music. The Hanyu Pinyin name also reflects the distinctive oriental character of our singers in international performances.
